Luang Phor Soong is famous for giving “Nang Kwak Statues”. One day, he heard about a girl whose parents are forcing her to become a prostitute. He gave a Nang Kwak statue to her parents and their financial position improved immediately and the girl was saved.
He liked to chant the Buddhist mantra ‘Namo Tassa Bhagavato Arahato Samma Sambuddhassa’ together with mudras. He also chanted Amitabha Buddha’s name. He had many European students and he often taught his disciples about compassion. He said that a person who has an ego cannot develop psychic abilities and he warned that too much ego causes one to lose his reputation and be disliked by everyone.
